Keep a readable silhouette

Black armor against a black wall gives the model little separation to follow. Use a reference with soft rim light, visible shoulders and a distinct outline. A charcoal jacket with muted gold trim can communicate a dark-hero look without a copied emblem. Avoid a mask that hides every facial feature if preserving your identity matters.

Choose night footage with visible movement

Look for steady exposure and a street light or other source illuminating the main subject. Avoid flashing lights, motion blur and cuts between bright and dark rooms. Lift the exposure in your editor before uploading if the subject is barely visible; this site does not include color grading or a relighting control.

Build an original comic-style photo

A useful image brief is: original adult urban guardian, charcoal utility suit, matte surfaces, muted gold trim, uncovered face, hands visible, neutral background, no logos. Prepare that image outside this tool. The reference should show the actual costume, because the character swap does not expose a text prompt field.

Inspect shadows and fabric

Review the outline when the character turns, the junction between gloves and wrists, and any coat hem crossing the legs. Deep shadows may erase details; reflective surfaces may flicker. The source guides the camera and sound, but backgrounds can be redrawn. Compare the same frames rather than judging a single attractive thumbnail.
